About Me
I bring extensive leadership experience to the Audio Visual domain, specializing in the Operations Management, Collaboration Infrastructure, Business Development, Account Management, Technical Resourcing, Service Strategies, Service Level Management, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Event Operations, Management and Production, Client Support, Workplace Technology, Control Systems, IPTV, Streaming Services, AV Vendor Management, Broadcast Technology, Pro Audio, Music Production, Media Production, and Events Technology sectors.
Throughout my career, I have navigated the corporate landscape within the enterprise-level events and audio-visual industry, contributing my expertise to various organizations in Australia and India. My journey has involved guiding cross-functional teams, steering budgetary responsibilities, formulating and implementing strategic plans, and cultivating robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.
I ardently believe in the power of passion, and my fervor for Customer Success through AV technology, Music, and Audio defines the essence of who I am today. As a devoted musician, I have always found excitement in the intricacies of sound. Sound, to me, transcends its elemental sensory nature; it is a way of life. This profound interest propelled me to delve deeper into the realms of Audio and later, Video.
Embarking on my professional journey with an industry leader, I was handpicked to intern at Studios 301 in Sydney. Subsequently, I had the privilege of working as an assistant to Eric J. Dubowsky, a Grammy-nominated ARIA award-winning musician, songwriter, record producer, and engineer. My involvement spanned various projects, including 'The Voice Australia 2017,' collaborating with Universal Music Australia. Over time, my career trajectory shifted towards assisting corporate clients in achieving their AV Operations, Events, Conferencing, Streaming, and seamlessly integrating users with cutting-edge technology.
Armed with a Bachelor of Computer Applications, which honed my technical prowess, and a Bachelor in Audio, which fostered creativity alongside technical skills, I bring a unique blend of knowledge to my endeavors. This distinctive combination has proven invaluable in my career, empowering me to conceptualize and deliver audio-visual solutions that are both technically robust and creatively innovative. A decade-plus journey as a part-time musician, coupled with close ties to the music industry, keeps me dynamically engaged and updated with evolving trends.
Currently serving as the "APAC - Section Manager for Video Support and Events" at AMD, a Semiconductor Design Company, I spearhead operational excellence by leading the Operations team and overseeing all new and revitalized AV projects across the APAC region. My insatiable curiosity drives me to continually explore and embrace emerging concepts within the broader technology landscape.
Reflecting on my achievements thus far, organizational acumen, effective communication, and adept people management stand out as my strongest assets.
In addition to my professional commitments, I nurture my passion project, "Tonic and Sonic," a media venture that handles music and sound for short films, ad jingles, and more.

FireSongs for the Soul - Celtic Compilation ( A, R)
Cheynne murphy is a folk alt-country rocker hailing from the alternative never-lands of Byron Bay, Australia. Debuting his first EP Firesongs For The Soul at Bluesfest 2009, he has released a debut album A Horse Called Freedom late 2014 to strong critical acclaim. Country update described the album as ‘at once ambling and cinematic’.
Rhythms magazine commending its ‘shimmering production and instrumentation’ and The Courier Mail commented on the ‘tight band, sighing harmonies and evocative guitar’. Paul Pilsneniks (Pete Murray, Angus Stone, Powderfinger, Jeff Martin) has co-produced the album and created some rich sonic textures wrapped around what Fender Australia has described as ‘music in the tradition of other timeless homegrown artists – from Paul Kelly to Pete Murray, the Black Sorrows to the Waifs. Catchy, original and unmistakably Australian.’
